My Background Story!

Hey! What is the best first blog post as a starter that tells more about my journey as a portrait photographer? I’m filled with gratitude as I look back on the winding path that led me here. My story begins in the vibrant landscapes of Bolivia, where I took my first steps, and unfolds through the colorful tapestry of Brazil, where I grew up surrounded by creativity and culture.

My passion for the arts ignited early, nurtured by my heritage’s rich heritage and the lush landscapes of my homeland. In Brazil, I embarked on my formal education, studying fine arts and later graduating as an architect. However, the call for exploration led me to the historic streets of Spain, where I pursued a master’s degree in restoring historical buildings.

During this time of discovery and learning, I became a mother, welcoming two precious souls into the world. As I embraced the joys and challenges of motherhood, I found myself drawn more and more to the art of photography, a passion that had been smouldering within me since childhood. When I learned to operate an analog camera as a teenager, I knew capturing moments in time would become an important part of my life’s journey.

In 2018, my family and I embarked on a new chapter, relocating to the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada. Here, I realized my dream of opening my own photography studio. In this space, I could channel my creativity and passion into creating timeless portraits for families to cherish.

Over the years, my studio has evolved and grown, much like the families I have had the privilege of photographing. I’ve honed my craft, learning new techniques and refining my skills with each session. But beyond the technical aspects of photography, the connection I forge with my clients brings me the greatest joy.

Photography is more than just capturing beautiful images; it’s about creating an experience, a memory that will last a lifetime. I strive to provide each of my clients with an exceptional experience filled with laughter, love, and genuine moments of connection.

Reflecting on my journey, I’m reminded of the precious memories I shared with my grandmother, poring over old family photos and listening to her tales of days gone by. Those moments, filled with love and nostalgia, are the heart and soul of my work. They remind me of the importance of preserving memories, of capturing the fleeting moments that make life so beautiful.

In every session, I aim to capture a moment and the essence of a family’s love and connection. It’s a privilege to be entrusted with such precious memories. I am grateful for the opportunity to play a small part in preserving the legacy of the families I photograph.
